MXR Distortion
MXR's distortion line is less of a single family than the Phase 90 or the Dyna Comp: the Distortion+ dates from 1978 and is one of the oldest effects pedals still in production, while the Super Badass series dates from the 2010s and offers a more modern sound with more controls and more gain.
